Mission Statement

Because two major Army installations lie near us - Fort Knox and Fort Campbell - our motto is "Healing Vets (and others)...while Saving Pets." Our priority is in serving wounded warriors and their families as they return home to find normalcy in their lives. We provide service to veterans from all past conflicts, other adults such as the lonely elderly, the handicapped, and special needs children. All services are free and our funding is solely dependent upon your donations and foundation grants.

We are dedicated to local community improvement of mental health by helping relieve stress of all those who suffer with emotional or physical issues. We accomplish this with the appropriate placement of shelter animals for the companionship, love, and comfort they can provide. In essence, we seek a triple-win situation where the person wins, the pet wins, and the shelter wins. We also facilitate equine therapy to help with psychological or physiological healing when appropriate and at accredited facilities where locally available.
