Our Mission:
Mission:
Sweet Serenity (SSI), Inc. formed in 2010 as a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Dedicated to fighting hunger and poverty within our communities, nationally and internationally. Distributing hot nutritious meals to homeless, elderly, and children. Assisting with Human Services, by providing homeless communities with sustainability, resources mainstream services in order to migrate back into society as well as maintain. We are committed to promoting an atmosphere that is free from any form of discrimination as it relates to gender, age, and race, color of skin, creed, sexual orientation, religion, national origin, disability, and veteran status. Goals:
Our International outreach primary focus is providing much needed food, meals, water and clothing, education; our focus is in Kenya and surrounding areas. Long term goal is to provide or aid with medical care.
Within the United States, our goal is to help people survive, learn, and contribute to society. We are dedicated to securing enough funds to provide the community with year round services for food and shelter. We also offer homeless prevention assistance and referrals to services. We have a goal to build the necessary infrastructure to operate an independent homeless shelter/facility. Ultimately, we want to improve the quality of life for all sectors of society in Georgia.

Volunteers will have the opportunity to express their talents and ideas as well as giving back to the community. We are looking for volunteers for following:
Fundraising
- Event Planning and Development
- Cooking and/or severing meals to the homeless
- Administrative Support
- Marketing
- Web Development (Newsletter, Media, Website/Tech)
- Volunteer Coordinator - (Lead position)
- Grant writer
- Outreach Development
- Grant Writer
- Volunteer Support
