The AHS foster care program places special needs animals into warm, nurturing environments that can provide consistent care. Volunteers are needed to care for no-quite-adoptable (too young, too old, unsocialized, or treatably ill) animals’ in your home until they can be placed for adoption. Must be at least 18 years of age, and have a home set-up that will facilitate special-needs animals. A home check is required.
