The Arab American National Museum

Looking to polish up your shooting and editing skills, create unique content for your sizzle reel and photograph cool artifacts for the world to see? Look no further.

The Arab American National Museum (AANM) seeks video interns, to start ASAP. The internship offers the opportunity to create content for the only museum in the world that documents, preserves and presents the history, lives and contributions of Arab Americans.

Edit existing videotaped panel sessions from arts and history conferences, world music performances, and more and upload to iTunes U.

Conceptualize and create fun short promotional videos for AANM, programs, events

Videotape oral history interviewees

Serious candidates only. Experience is a plus but not required.

The Arab American National Museum is the first museum in the world devoted to Arab American history and culture. By bringing the voices and faces of Arab Americans to mainstream audiences, we continue our commitment to dispel misconceptions about Arab Americans and other minorities. The Museum brings to light the shared experiences of immigrants and ethnic groups, paying tribute to the diversity of our nation.

The Arab American National Museum is a proud Affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. and the only Smithsonian Affiliate in southeastern Michigan to date.
