Our volunteers at the Stephenson Cancer Center are compassionate, friendly caregivers with a common goal: to support the Cancer Center mission to reduce the burden of cancer for our patients. We make our patients journey through their cancer treatment as pleasant as possible, and in return receive many blessings and much gratitude back from our patients and their families and friends! As a volunteer, you may enjoy serving snacks in the clinic waiting areas, or lunches in the chemotherapy rooms, or perhaps you would like to lead an art therapy session. Would you enjoy working at our Front Desk greeting patients and visitors and helping them with directions? Do you like planning and hosting holiday parties? Or perhaps you just have a heart for cancer patients, and enjoy interacting with them and helping them with small duties that make their day brighter. Whatever you do, you will find buckets of gratitude from the clinical staff and the patients- volunteers are so important in the work we do at the Stephenson Cancer Center.
