MRC units are community-based and function as a way to locally organize and utilize volunteers--medical and concerned citizens--who want to donate their time and expertise to promote healthy living thoughout the year and to prepare for and respond to public health emergencies. The Monroe County MRC is recruiting for new members!

Mission Statement
The Monroe County Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) is dedicated to establishing a team of local health care professionals and other interested individuals that are willing to volunteer their time and expertise to the communities of Monroe County throughout the year and during public health emergencies.
Description
Both medical professionals and non medical personnel are needed to train and exercise for response to public health emergencies. Everyone age 18 years and older is welcome to apply for membership.
