Evercare Hospice is currently looking for Volunteer Editors to help with Editing of our filmed Life Review Videos. Imagine the family gathering together to listen to the hospice patient tell their life story - usually for the last time. During the filming of the life review video our patient will journey down a road that takes them through childhood memories, sibling reflections and school time pranks. Teenage years, sports, young adulthood, first loves, college, marriage, parenthood, careers and how religion or spirituality found their way into their life. Sometimes our patients make amends, mend broken relationships and can even find peace. This precious personal family history will be captured on film, photos added then set to music then given to the family as a keepsake for generations to come. Volunteer Editors interested in assisting with this ongoing project should possess their own computer and editing software such as Final Cut Pro (in which you are proficient). All volunteers must attend a training session with the volunteer coordinator, submit to a 2 step TB test, drug screening, criminal background check and we offer the Hepatitis B vaccination which is optional. We can't do this without you so please contact me if interested.
