The RITE Program is seeking local places of business that would be willing to share their expertise and model "a day in the life" of your professional setting to aspiring and determined candidates. A small group of RITE Program clients (from 1-5 specifically matched), would spend from a few hours up to a full day at your place of business and shadow employees while gaining knowledge about how your business operates. Clients would also participate in mock interviews and gain honest feedback about their resumes and their overall professional presentation. This unique experience is equally as rewarding to business owners and employees as it is for our eager clients. Please contact us to find out more about this opportunity
Reaching Independence Through Employment (RITE) helps individuals and families attain a greater sense of self-sufficiency through counseling, goal planning, job-skills training, life skills and family support. RTIE coordinators provide free weekly vocational support clubs focusing on resume writing and defined job search skills. Computer classes and job skills trainings are also available. RITE is open to residents living in Stamford and Greenwich.

Mission Statement
Family Centers' mission is to empower children, adults, families and communities to realize their potential. Our NAEYC accredited preschools, school-based social work, parental education and adolescent counseling services, give families the resources they need to ensure their children have the bright beginnings they deserve. A comprehensive network of counseling and support services is also instrumental in helping families in crisis work toward a successful resolution. Vocational training, housing resources, counseling and self sufficiency programs also help low-income people and those with long-term mental illness realize their dreams of living independently. Meanwhile, our senior outreach programs encourage lifelong learning, socialization and support.
