ALTERNATIVE SPRING/WINTER BREAK IN NEW ORLEANS! LOOK NO FURTHER!! At United Saints we are gearing up to host volunteer groups for winter and spring break to help us continue our mission of rebuilding homes and beautifying New Orleans. Our calendar is filling up fast! Come join us here at United Saints Recovery Project for a life-changing experience! United Saints Recovery Project goal is to assist communities that have suffered damage from natural disasters, helping residents return home, improve their quality of life and strengthen their communities. We do this with the help of local, national, and international volunteers, assisting homeowners in rehabilitating and rebuilding their homes as well as other community partnered projects to revitalize the community. Alternative Spring Break packages: Our volunteer fee is $45.00 per person, per night. This includes: -Coed bunk or cot style accommodations -Volunteer project coordination -Orientation and safety training -Experienced team leadership on each project site Other amenities include: -Outdoor Meeting space -Large outdoor area -Free WI-FI available -No curfews Excellent location in Central City-three blocks from the St. Charles streetcar line and less than 2 miles from the French Quarter. Mission Statement

We are a grassroots, volunteer-based nonprofit organization working to help restore the homes and hearts of communities affected by natural disasters. Our roots are in New Orleans, in the heart of Central City. The mission of the United Saints Recovery Project is to assist communities that have suffered damage from natural disasters, helping residents return home, improve their quality of life and strengthen their communities. We do this with the help of local, national, and international volunteers, assisting homeowners in rehabilitating and rebuilding their homes, and engaging those homeowners in our effort to promote volunteerism within the community. United Saints also hosts a community art program in New Orleans, involving local artists and community members in an effort to beautify and directly improve their environment. United Saints is a 501(c)(3) organization.

Description

The United Saints Recovery Project is a volunteer run, non-profit located in Central City New Orleans. We focus on assisting needy homeowners rebuild their homes that have been devastated by natural disaster.
