Volunteer for our free community Halloween Haunted House Festival, Monday, October 31st from 6pm-8:30pm! Make this a fun, safe and memorable event for kids in the African community in south St. Petersburg where APEDF programs address the grave disparities in education, health, healthcare and economic development.

We need volunteers for the following

  • Gather candy donation and prizes from local businesses
  • Scary characters to be in the Haunted House
  • Design set up
  • Face painting for the kids
  • Help supervise the games
  • Helper to give out candy

Join us for FUN! FUN! FUN!

  • Haunted House
  • Exercise for Candy (most popular booth)
  • Double Dutch Jump Roping
  • Red carpet pictures for the kids
  • Live music, dancing, food and drinks
  • Kids Costume Contest with prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners
  • And more......

The Halloween committe meets every other Thursday from 6pm - 7:30pm, meeting dates as follows, please join the committee:

September Meeting Dates (bi-weekly)

  • Thursday, September 22nd @ 6pm - 7:30pm

October Meeting Dates (weekly)

  • Thursday, October 6th @ 6pm- 7:30pm

  • Thursday, October 27th @ 6pm-7:30pm
  • Monday, October 31 st, setup 9am- 4pm
