ORGANIZATION: Buena Park Library District - Buena Park Library District

Want to make a difference in a child's school success, volunteer at the Buena Park Library Homework Help Center. We are seeking patient and academically successful high school students (15-18 years) to assist children with their school assignments. We are asking for a commitment of two hours per week for six weeks. If helping children with their homework sounds like a fun and challenging activity, please contact the Buena Park Library, at 714-826-4100, x 126.

Public libraries in California seek to engage the talents, skills and commitment of volunteers to serve the communities' information and literacy needs. Libraries offer a variety of skilled volunteer opportunities to make a meaningful contribution to library programs, operations, fundraising events and other community engagement functions. Skilled volunteers have opportunities to lead projects, work with teams of staff and volunteers, learn new skills, and have fun.
