Hospice Advantage volunteers are an essential part of our philosophy of care that recognizes that those living with life-limiting illness deserve the support and compassion that hospice provides. We have volunteer opportunities for 1:1 patient visitors, social service assistance, music therapy, massage therapy, pet therapy for licensed animals, and bereavement support. At the heart of hospice, volunteers provide care and compassion to patients and their families who are on hospice care by offering friendly visits to families, engaging patients in conversation or reminiscence, and assisting in office tasks or household duties as needed. We are eager to connect your unique abilities to the needs of or patients and their families.

Hospice Advantage is a Medicare, Medicaid Certified program providing superior end-of-life care services. Hospice Advantage was started to better serve the needs of terminally ill patients in the US. In November, 2004, Hospice Advantage was Founded by Rod Hildebrant, MSA, CHCE, a health care executive with more than 25 years experience in the home health care and hospice industries.
