Use your special skills or put a hobby to good use! Family & Children’s Agency is seeking volunteers to create special gifts for our clients in need. Suggestions for creative gifts are welcome and can be discussed with Volunteer Services staff. Some past items include hand knit scarves for homeless adults, handmade baby quilts for newborns, welcome baskets for newly-housed clients, etc.
Requirements
To become a volunteer with Family & Children’s Agency, volunteers must complete an application. Volunteers are also invited to attend an agency orientation with Volunteer Services.
Family & Children’s Agency is a leading non-profit, human service organization that is committed to increasing the social and emotional well-being of our clients. We provide strength-based, solution focused services that respond to the individual needs of children & families, youth, adults, and seniors.

For 80 years, Family & Children’s Agency (FCA) has been helping individuals and families throughout Fairfield County and beyond to realize life's possibilities. We increase the social and emotional well-being of our clients by providing strength-based, solution-focused services for every stage of life.
Our work:
- Supports children through ASPIRE, Foster Care and IICAPS.
- Builds families through Adoption, Parent Education and Guidance.
- Stabilizes adults with counseling, substance abuse treatment, and supportive housing services.
- Cares for seniors by providing caregiver support, PERS, caregivers and live-in assistance so they can stay in their homes.
