When assisting the largest organization for girls in the world, no job is too small. We value your commitment and, as the Service Unit Registrar, your time and expertise are crucial to the success of our young girls. Your objective will be to ensure that girls and adults in leadership positions are properly registered as members of Girl Scouts of NE Kansas and NW Missouri. This position is a long term- seasonal opportunity with guidance, encouragement, and support from the Membership Manager, Service Unit Manager, and the Council Registrar.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and presenting the annual membership registration process

• Collecting registration forms from girls and adults unable to register online

• Encouraging troops to participate in early-bird registration and following-up with troops who have not met registration deadlines

• Collaborating with the Product Sales Manager and Day Camp Director to ensure that all participating girls are registered members

• Managing disbanded troops

• Obtaining Troop Interest Indicator forms from recruiters to place girls and adults into their respective troops, distribute copies of Indicator forms to the Program Consultant and Membership Manager and maintain for records

• Distribute troop packets and troop numbers to the Service Unit Program Consultant

• Participate in the development and implementation of the Service Unit Plan of Work

• Complying with current policies, procedures, and guidelines of Girl Scouts of NE Kansas & NW Missouri and Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA)

• Above all, be guided in all actions by the Girl Scout Mission, Promise, and Law
