Getting There Ride Share

Do you like to drive? Do you like to help people? Volunteering with the Getting There Ride Share program in Harford County is flexible and easy. Drivers are needed to help transport older adults living in remote areas to health care and other scheduled appointments. As a volunteer driver, you pick your own schedule...helping as little or as much as you are able. Mileage reimbursement and supplemental insurance is available. Help a neighbor in need by volunteering with Getting There Ride Share.

Getting There Ride Share wants to help improve the quality of life for Harford County's age-eligible residents by providing an affordable and reliable transportation service, utilizing community volunteers and resources

Description

Residents of Northern Harford County, age 60 and older can schedule rides to participate in more of life's activities.

Screened volunteer drivers provide the transportation using their own insured vehicles.

Busy family members who cannot always afford to take time off from work to transport their loved ones, have a safe transportation option.
