  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

This opportunity is to volunteer with Golden Gate Opera's outreach to schools programs. Connect us with schools in underserved communities and we'll bring a joyful arts live opera experience to the kids, thanks to you. You'll make an impact.

GGO works very hard to provide live opera in low-income schools integrating it with the core subjects, with a Hansel and Gretel theme for example: Your connecting us with targeted schools will help us reach more children each year.

The media and our fans like to hear of GGO volunteers bringing the arts into schools, or arranging for school children to come to the theatre. You'll distribute GGO's educational materials to teachers, by email or phone call, so they can see what a wonderful program this is!

Imagine children learning math, english, reading, geography, american and world history, safety, health, nutritian AND arts and crafts through this unique program. See them Beam with Self Esteem! You are needed so we can reach more children and more schools.

Mission Statement

Golden Gate Opera is dedicated to sharing the joys of the myriad of fine arts found in live professional opera with people of all ages, cultural and economic backgrounds to enrich lives. We inspire a better life, through first rate performances and educational programs.
