Join us for a Girl's Night Out full of purses, fun, and surprises all for a great cause - the Arthritis Foundation!
What: Purses with Power is a social event where attendees come together to network, socialize and shop while supporting a worthy cause and spreading awareness around arthritis. The night is comprised of a silent auction of handbags and other high-end items with cocktails, light refreshments, giveaways and other fun festivities.
When: Thursday, June, 20th from 6:30pm-9:30pm
Where: The sleek and modern Haworth Showroom at Terrell Place on 575 7th Street, NW, Washington, D.C. 20004.
But, we need about 15 volunteers to help make this event successful!
We are looking for volunteers to help with the following:
1. Set up (starting at 1pm on event day)
2. Registration
3. Greeters
4. Coat check
5. Auction Assistants (includes guarding silent auction, introducing items to attendees, encouraging bidding, organizing bid sheets, preparing for check out and providing check out assistance to staff)
For more information about the event visit, www.purseswithpowerdc.com
Note: Volunteers are asked to uphold the informal evening dress code (cocktail dresses or lounge suit) and wear all black to this event.
Please contact Chloe Mogel, Inquiry and Information/Volunteer Coordinator at 800-365-3811 ext. 4233 or at cmogel@arthritis.org for more information.
