If you enjoy working in a friendly environment and want to help save lives, the American Red Cross needs you! Greet and serve refreshments to blood donors at the Montgomery Chapter House Blood Drives. We are looking for volunteers who can work one or more of the following days and times: The Chapter House is open for blood donations on the 1st and 4th Tuesday of each month; the 2nd and 5th Wednesday of each month; and the 5th Monday of each month. The times are 1:30 pm - 8:30 pm.

Description
The American Red Cross was founded over 100 years ago by Clara Barton with the purpose of relieving human suffering. Today the nonprofit organization relies on the support of volunteer staff, who outnumber paid staff 94 to 1, to continue its humanitarian work. Saving lives by providing safe blood products to hospitals is just one of the many ways in which the Red Cross continues to meet the needs of the community.
