Walk to End Alzheimer's is the Alzheimer's Association's annual signature event to educate, advocate, raise public awareness and funds for Alzheimer's disease research and support services. This Walk in Walnut Creek at Heather Farms Park is set to attract approximately 1,500 walkers and needs 200 volunteers to help with the walk. Duties are dependent upon specific jobs that range from walker registration to assisting in the family pavilion, food and beverage, route monitors, route cheerleaders, etc. This volunteer opportunity is available for individuals and large groups.

We provide programs and support services for patients, families, caregivers, and others in the San Francisco Bay Area affected by Alzheimer's disease and related disorders. Outside the federal government, the Alzheimer's Association is the largest research funder in the country and offers advocacy opportunities to make public policy change.
