Duties: Assist the Play Care Coordinator in promoting a friendly, loving and safe environment for the children inside the Play Care Room of Tacoma Goodwill.
Number of Volunteers needed: 1
Volunteer time: at least 3 hours a week
Skills: Ability to communicate well with children, members of staff and parents with diverse background; Ability to provide a safe and caring environment for childcare; Conscientious and hardworking; Ability to work calmly under pressure; Flexible approach to hours when required; Caring and kind especially in relation to children.
Experience: preferably, has some experience working with and caring for children. Training in or attending classes in Early Childhood Education is also preferred.
Background Check: This opportunity requires the volunteer to undergo a background check before being accepted.
