Volunteers can work one-on-one with a Dress for Success Philadelphia client to help her select her professional attire and to provide support and encouragement as she prepares for her interviews. Once a woman becomes employed, she returns to Dress for Success Philadelphia for additional clothing to help her build a working wardrobe. Volunteers assist with this second visit as well, ensuring that women choose items that can be mixed and matched to create several outfits appropriate for the workplace. Personal shopping is an enjoyable and rewarding way to boost women's confidence and make a direct impact on our clients lives.

Mission Statement
The mission of Dress for Success Philadelphia is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.
Description
The Dress for Success Philadelphia suiting program provides women the clothing that they need for their interviews and, once they find work, to begin building a working wardrobe. Dress for Success Philadelphia will see women by referral only from a diverse group of agencies with job training programs. While we may be best known for our suiting program, the cornerstone of our mission is employment retention--namely, providing women with the tools and support they need to remain employed and to turn their jobs into rewarding careers.
