YMCA Inspire Preschool is located in Longmont. Programs run year round.

Hours Preferred: A minimum of 3 hours per week

What’s your super power? Can you turn a pile of Legos into a whole lot of fun? Can you transform story time into a spellbinding theatrical production?

Harness all your powers, and volunteer in our preschool. The Preschool Programs Hero helps create a positive experience for children and parents in YMCA Inspire Preschool. Under the direction of our preschool teachers, preschool volunteers safely, cheerfully and responsibly interact with children, assist with activities, set up art projects and help with the daily agenda. Our volunteers also help maintain cleanliness and safety expectations at all times.

Volunteers should possess a high level of interpersonal and problem-solving skills, be highly energetic and enthusiastic about working with children, have positive interactions with children and be committed to safety in all aspects of providing care.

Due to licensing requirements participants must be 16 or above

This opportunity requires applicant to submit 2 letters of reference.

It is our corporate policy that all volunteers must pass a criminal background screening prior to placement.
