Volunteer needed to manage office for short periods of time, sometimes hours, sometimes several days. We are a volunteer placement agency, especially benefitting adults over 55 years of age.
Skills required include: good telephone skills and attention to detail. Must be able to use general office machines, such as copier or fax. Computer experience required; mainly limited to email, filing and light word processing.
Training will be provided for specific tasks; as will an overview of the business of the agency, which will make the job more understandable.

The program improves the quality of life in the community by providing the assistance of volunteers in support of nonprofit agencies/programs across all generational lines.
Description
RSVP of the Capital Region East currently offers volunteer opportunities in Lancaster, Lebanon and York Counties. Our goal is to provide volunteer opportunities throughout the senior's volunteer life, changing to meet her/his needs and interests.
Our volunteer opportunities are focused in four main categories:
- Healthy Futures
- Education
- Disaster Preparedness and Response
- Veterans and Military Families
RSVP also provides transportation supports to assist senior volunteers in their endeavors.
