The San Diego River Park Foundation’s "One River, Many Stories" program seeks to record people’s early memories of the San Diego River and Mission Valley from the early to mid 1900’s. We need someone who is good with people to ask a few set questions and record the answers using a video camera. We will provide the interview questions and also work with your schedule and arrange for people to interview. No experience required, use your camera or ours.
The videos will be used as part of an exhibit for a planned heritage museum in Mission Valley.
This is a great way to help us preserve our local history by collecting these stories before they are lost forever. More info on this program at:

The San Diego River Park Foundation is dedicated to fostering stewardship and appreciation of the region’s namesake waterway. In order to protect and enhance the San Diego River as a place for recreation, habitat, and nature discovery, we are dedicated to engaging people to be stewards of the River and working towards the vision of a 52 mile, river-long system of parks, open spaces, and community places.
Description
We organize many different volunteer stewardship activities each month. River Cleanups, native plant gardening, habitat restoration, volunteer leadership, water quality testing, outreach and education, special event committees, technical committees and more.
