CF Cycle for Life Volunteers Needed!

CF Cycle for Life is a one-day bike ride which includes a choice of two routes (30 & 65 miles). The journey begins and ends at The Frontier in RTP and passes through some of the most scenic and cycle-friendly roads in the area.

Cycle for Life offers not only beautiful cycling routes but a healthy challenge and good time for recreational and experienced riders. It is also a way to give back to the local community and the 30,000 children, young adults, and seniors living with cystic fibrosis.

Volunteers are the lifeblood of the Foundation. We can not do this without you!

Here are a few of our many needs.

PLANNING COMMITTEE (July -September 2-3 hours per month)

CF Cycle for Life iis looking for motivated, enthusiastic folks who are interested in supporting the mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. We need your expertise in rider cultivation, sponsorship, volunteer recruitment, hoopla planning and more!

MARKET THE RIDE Can you help us spread the word with local cycling clubs, gyms, riders and companies?

LOGISTICS SUPPORT: (September 2-21) Do you love to organize? Join us in our office on Creedmoor Road and prepare materials, ride day pckets, ride day supplies and more.

BIKE MECHANIC (September 22)
Are you an experienced bike mechanic? Do you work in a local shop and have experience pre and post ride? We need your help on ride day to get our riders going, and keep them on track.

PHOTOGRAPHERS Hop a ride with our SAG driver and capture the amazing journey

ENTERTAINER Can you juggle? Sketch? Do magic? Entertain our crowd post ride. As they enjoy a hearty meal.

VOLUNTEER GREETER (September 22)

Don't have bike maintenance experience but wanna help out?This community oriented day is centered around learning more about the CF Foundation. If you are committed to providing exceptional customer service and enjoy helping others volunteer greeter is a perfect match

CHEER SQUAD (September 22) Join us at the finish line with your noisemakers, pom poms and applaud Our riders for completing the treacherous course.

UNLOAD THE VAN PARTY (September 22) Help us pack up at the Frontier in RTP and unload at our office on Creedmoorapplaud one heavy lifting required bu, teamwork is the most important skill.
