Join us for Strut Your Mutt Walk

This is a funraising walk called Strut Your Mutt and will take place on October 26, 2019 from 9:00 a.m.-noon and we have teams of people who are participating in a one mile walk with the dogs followed by a festival with music, food and entertainment. We need volunteers to join our team - for National Brittany Rescue.

There is a website for our team -- you click on the link below and either join or team or you can make donations to an existing walker. The funds raised by this walk pay for vetting shelter dogs and dogs whose owners have given them up to rescue. You can also share the link on Facebook or Twitter and encourage friends, family and neighbors to join us. The more people we have, the more fun the event and the more awareness is brought to the issues with homeless pets. Please help us get the word out to make this event a success. We can supply you with community service credit hours or complete any paperwork you might have for your school or service club, and you get to have a blast helping needy canines! Bring your own canines or we can supply you with a foster to walk. You don't have to come early or stay late - stay as long as you like. You don't have to try to fund-raise - you can just come and walk with us, but we would love fundraising help. It's a fun day - as long as you dress comfortably with comfy shoes. It can get hot at Exposition Park. There will be lots of fun animal-themed activities for kids and there is no age limit or requirement for this event.
