Its more than just a meal.... its about bringing older adults together from around the community for a great meal and some fun!
The Aging and Disability Resource Center of Central Wisconsin operates a Senior Dining Site at Riverview Towers in Wausau. Lunch is served at 11:30; Monday-Friday. Volunteers are needed to assist with set-up, serving meals, and clean-up. Help is needed anytime between 10:00-1:00 pm. We work with your schedule and interests. Application and background check required. We will train you on food safety and other program guidelines.
Are you interested in helping to make the site more fun? Bring your skills to plan activities, run a fun BINGO game, or entertain with your musical skills. If you have a group that would enjoy providing some entertainment, give us a call. We want to hear about ideas you might have to make the dining site a fun, interactive place to be for seniors.
Volunteers can join us for lunch (contribution cost $3.75).
