Do you enjoy working with children? The Nevada State Museum, Las Vegas is recruiting volunteers to be education assistants. Work in the museum classroom assisting children with art projects and activities, or work in the gallery introducing visitors to some of the touchable objects in our "hands-on" learning carts.
No teaching experience is required and training will be provided. Enjoy the fun of helping museum visitors get the most out of their museum visit by having a hands on experience!
Shifts are available from 10 am - 2 pm or 2 pm -6 pm Thursday through Monday. Email today to find out about the next training session.

Description
Located in the Springs Preserve, a 180-acre campus of trails, gardens, and exhibits, the Nevada State Museum offers a fascinating look at Nevada's history and natural history. In addition to exhibit galleries, the Museum has a research library that focuses on southern Nevada history, an education lab, meeting rooms, and spacious banquet facilities.
