Imagine needing to get to an appointment, but not having any transportation!? With YOUR HELP we can enable older adults to continue to live in their homes and stay active in the community. In your vehicle or in our van, volunteer drivers transport seniors to, OR from, medical appointments, grocery shopping and other points of interest. No need to stay at the appointment. It may only take 20 minutes, but it makes a huge difference in their lives. We do all the screening and coordinating - you just let us know when you are available each week, and we let you know who needs a ride and to where! Its FLEXIBLE - Its IMPORTANT - Its MEANINGFUL This volunteer commitment is very flexible and is a great way to positively impact the life of someone in need of vital transportation services. You can provide a ride to one person, or multiple depending on your schedule. Did you know we have to turn down over 40 requests for rides EACH DAY? We need you!!! Each rider has been screened and accepted into the Project Linkage transportation services. Call TODAY 503-688-1782 or reply to this posting.
