Relay For Life is a life-changing event that helps communities across the globe celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against this terrible disease.

WHAT IS RELAY?

Overnight relay-style event

  • Teams of people camp out around a track
  • Members of each team take turns walking around the track for the duration of the event
  • Food, games and activities provide entertainment and fundraising opportunities
  • Family-friendly environment for the entire community

We are looking for energetic, creative, and caring people to join the planning committee. If you are interested in getting involved in a great local event to help a great cause then Relay is for you!

There are several committee positions available to suit your style. We are open to everyone. Please contact Anne at 585-224-4941, or at Anne.Tatarsky@cancer.org if you are interested in hearing more information. Also you can check out our website at RelayforLife.org

I am looking for committee support for events in Spencerport (and Brockport, Hamlin, Hilton too) and Pittsford on the east side, but we have events all over Monroe county, so there may be one in your community too!!! You don't need to live or work in any of these communties to be eligiable to help! You just need to want to help and FIGHT BACK!

How the American Cancer Society Saves Lives
