BE A VOLUNTEER TUTOR in Bayshore Christian Ministries’ CREATE Studios, a STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) program for at-risk youth in grades 6-8 in the East Palo Alto community.
CREATE Studios provides space for middle school students to work on homework in a safe and controlled environment with one-on-one support from staff and adult tutors, Monday-Wednesday, 3:30pm-5:30pm. Hours are flexible for volunteers; make the schedule work for you. High school students and adults are welcome to apply.
The role of the tutors is to build positive relationships with our youth, help them complete their homework and guide them in developing confidence in academics, so they have a brighter future ahead.
