"There is no limit to the good you can do...
if you don't care who gets the credit."
Patriot Defender Network is just what its name implies: We honor those patriots who serve. While our focus is on our veterans (past and present), first responders and their families in times of personal crisis, we strive to honor, recognize and network with those organizations and individuals who support a similar mission.
Most of our requests come from caseworkers at various military facilities. That means the client(s) have already been vetted and deserving of the support needed. EXAMPLE:
OHIO: 226 : Bronze Star 22 years of service veteran US Army soldier was called up from his reserve status for his first deployment to Iraq then deployed again to Ft. Monroe, VA.
Adopt-a-Soldier program steps up to keep water from being shut off. Insurance cancellation avoided thanks to talk radio hosts Quinn & Rose. Local Vets for Freedom resources and PDN have covered the mortgage, utilities and groceries. http://patriotwatch.com/CaseWork.htm
One organization on its own may not have the ability to write a check for $1,200 to the electric utility to get lights back on. A dozen organizations writing a check for $100 to the electric company could! Part of PDN's mission it to recognize those who do such work around the nation every day. We call them Heroes@Home and they are featured at http://patriotwatch.com/HonorHall.htm
