Tail Wagger's 1990 is GROWING! We are looking for compassionate, fun-loving volunteers to help in our Livonia Office!
The Administrative Office is in need of organized people to assist us with light office duties such as answering phones, appointment setting, data entry, filing, etc. We also distribute pet food through The Pantry 4 Paws Pet Food Assistance Program - you will feel very rewarded when you know that an animal didn't go to sleep hungry at night.
The Wellness Center and Clinic also needs your help! This is where you will see owned animals of all types coming in for their yearly vaccines. Don't worry - we DO NOT EUTHANIZE nor are we a SHELTER - you will only get to see, pet and love on OWNED ANIMALS! This is a more serious area of volunteering - must have some experience with animals and be willing to work at a fast pace. A variety of opportunities are available based on your skill, ability to work and willingness to learn!
Hours will vary but we are extremely flexible - we are a lot of fun to hang out with and the people and animals you meet will make it all worthwhile!
Tail Wagger's 1990 has been in the community for over 29 years and has made a positive difference in the lives of many. This volunteer position will enable you to leave happy. We like to take care of our volunteers because we know that without them, our efforts would not be possible!

Tail Wagger’s 1990 is committed to helping people help animals. It is our ultimate goal to be able to support dedicated pet owners who are in need of assistance along with providing necessary funding for those animals in emergency situations.
Description
A name in the community for 30 years, Tail Wagger’s 1990 is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that focuses on affordable preventative pet care, community help and assistance, and the welfare of animals.
We do not charge an office or exam fee and ANYONE of ANY income level can use our services - there is no need to qualify!
The Wellness Center services include: vaccinations, heart worm testing & preventative, flea/tick treatments, FIV/FeLv testing, nail trims, fecal tests, anal glands, etc.
The Pantry 4 Paws Pet Food Assistance Program provides temporary relief for those pet owners that have fallen on a challenging time and find it difficult to afford food for their animals. The Pantry 4 Paws is feeding hundreds of animals every month and we insure that no animal goes to sleep hungry at night!
