Adults 55 and over become the first person a caller hears or sees in this vital medical program that provides health care for low income working uninsured. You will be answering phone calls, patient check in and out, and make patient appointments. You also will retrieve medications for patients and greet visitors. The office shifts are 9:00 a.m - 1:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m - 5:00 p.m.

Develop a variety of volunteer opportunities for community services for people, aged 55 and better, willing to share their experience, abilities, and skills for the betterment of their community and themselves.
Description
The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program is funded in part by a federal program entitled The Corporation for National and Community Service and the City of Jacksonville.
The dual purpose is to engage seniors 55 and better in volunteer service that meets critical community neeeds; and to provide a high quality volunteer experience that will enrich their lives.
