This is the main fundraising event for Lane Area Ferret Shelter and Rescue. We need help with the following:
- setting up starting at 10:00 am (will include transporting items from vehicles to event area, setting up booths, setting up popup canopies, etc.)
- tending booths from noon to 4 pm (may include taking tickets, timing events, writing down times, etc.)
- tear down after 4 pm (will include packing up and transporting games, popups, unsold "Bandit Boutique" items, etc. to cars or truck to be taken back to shelter or storage)
Volunteers need to be available for a minimum of two hours per shift. No volunteer will need to handle any of the ferrets unless they wish to.
All volunteers will receive one free raffle ticket!
The Ferret Agility Trials centers around ferrets and a series of games that the ferrets participate in. Additionally, there are booths that sell merchandise and food, and carnival-like games where the public can win prizes.
