Preschool Classroom Support: Come spend three hours a week with 3- or 4-year-olds as they learn, grow and melt your heart day after day. Assist the teachers with learning centers, classroom management, projects, reading, playing and having fun. (Shifts are either 8:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. OR 12:45 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.) Internships are also available!
The result is that children get one on one support to hit their developmental milestones, and you get to learn more about early childhood development, positive discipline, and executive functioning which you can apply in your personal life.
(If weekly is too often for you but you love to work with children, we have once a month or semi-annual opportunities available, too!)
Benefits: You can explore a new career, elevate your skills set and showcase your talent! But most of all, your skills and love of children make a difference in children's and families' lives!

Description
Encompass is an independent, non-profit organization established in 1966 with a mission to build healthy foundations for children.
Our programs nurture both typical and developmentally challenged children, enrich families in all their diversity, and inspire community throughout the Snoqualmie Valley, Issaquah, Sammamish and the greater Eastside. Our focus is on children age birth to 8 and our core programs are early education, pediatric therapy, and family enrichment and support.
