Join us and be a part of our wonderfulSanta MonicaHistoryMuseum. The museum is a non-profit, tax-exempt corporation that was founded to collect and preserve the history, art and culture of theSanta Monica Bay area and to share the history thru innovative tours and displays. Docent volunteers are very important elements of the public outreach programs. No in-depth knowledge of history is required and the necessary training is provided prior to new docents taking responsibilities.

We are looking for enthusiastic communicators who want to tell the wonderful story of Santa Monica's real history. The most important duty of a docent is to provide guided tours of the museum.
