ORGANIZATION: Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York

At Newburgh Ministry during the day, our staff regularly deals with individuals who are homeless who are not able to utilize the safety net of services in Orange County. As of 2011, we became a year round facility with emergency and transitional shelter beds for 19 women and men who are homeless.

Volunteers are assigned in teams of two to supervise up to 15 homeless men and women.
