Day Kimball Healthcare is looking for volunteers to help in the escort department and as wayfinders.
Escort volunteer responsibilities include: Transporting patients from one department to another in stretchers or wheelchairs, delivering newspapers, mail, flowers and other general errands as needed. Requires volunteer to be outgoing and friendly, reliable and available for at least one shift a week. We currently have openings available on Friday's from 12-4.
Wayfinders responsibilites include: Greeting patients and visitors as they enter our organization and assisting them to their destination either walking or with a wheelchair. Must be outgoing, friendly, helpful, reliable and available for at least one shift a week. Shifts are 8-12 or 12-4 and we have openings on all shifts!
Applicants must complete an application, interview, criminal background check, health clearance, and orientation. You must be prepared to commit to a minimum of 100 hours and be in general good health. Benefits include: free meal on the days you volunteer, an annual recognition luncheon and our heartfelt appreciation!
