Newburgh Ministry is a community center/hospitality house.
One of our programs, the Play and Learn Center, serves a number of functions. It serves as a place for children to wait and play while the caregiver conducts business elsewhere in the Ministry. During the thrift store hours for instance it is not unusual to see more than 15 children in the play area most of whom are preschoolers.
The volunteer will supervise children while caregivers conduct business at the ministry.
Ministry hours are 9:00am to 12:00pm and reopen from 1:15pm to 3:00pm.
Particular need for help is during Thrift Store Sale 9:15am to 10:00am on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
