Hi Volunteers!
We are looking for volunteers to help us with our next event, Pug Rescue of San Diego County's annual Del Mar Pug Party! Volunteers will help with set up, running our numerous booths at the event, and helping with break-down after the event. We will have a costume contest, raffle, boutique, Vendors, adoption booth, membership booth, pug cafe, Pennies for Pugs and so much more! I am offering the shifts below for this event :
Shift A - 6:45am-9:45am
Shift B - 9:30am-3:00pm
Shift C - 2:45pm-5:15pm

Location: Del Mar Fair Grounds
Date: Saturday, May 5, 2018
If you would like to volunteer please email me your name and the shift you would like to help with as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we have been informed that Del Mar will charge $10.00 per vehicle for parking. There will most likely not be a parking attendant for those volunteering for Shift A. Any individual volunteers to Shift B and Shift C may be required to pay for parking at the event. This money is not given to Pug Rescue.
Pug Rescue is more than willing to provide volunteer letters to those looking for community service hours after the volunteer shift and date in question. Please e-mail Volunteers@pugsandiego.com to reserve your name on our list of volunteers.

Pug Rescue of San Diego County (PRSDC) is a non-profit, all-volunteer, charitable organization dedicated to rescuing unwanted, neglected, abandoned, and relinquished Pugs and placing them into a new home where they may live out their lives in a loving and caring environment.
Description
Animal Rescue Organization ~ Since our founding in 1991 Pug Rescue of San Diego County has rescued over 4,600 Pugs, and placed the vast majority in new, loving, forever homes. If a Pug needs veterinary care, we provide it before placing the Pug into its new home. All dogs are spayed or neutered before placement.
We are the largest rescue group in the region, and hold 7 fundraising events each year: "Pugs and Kisses" in February ~ "St. PUGtrick Party" in March ~ the 1st Saturday in May: our largest event of the year, the annual Pug Party at the Del Mar Fairgrounds; 350 to 400 Pugs attend ~ "Luau" in August ~" PUGtoberfest" in September ~ Halloween party in October ~ and Christmas Party in December.
