Volunteers can serve in a number of areas such as the Gift Shop, the Information Desk, Cafeteria, Office clerical assistance, and in the Emergency Department providing non-medical assistance for clients.
Ellenville Regional Hospital will continue to be recognized as the center of health care services for our surrounding communities. Patient centered care is delivered in a clinical and educational environment, designed to assist the patient physically, intellectually, emotionally, spiritually and socially.
The design of services and programs at Ellenville Regional Hospital is envisioned to provide the most comprehensive, family centered program of critical access care, as well as providing excellence in the education of patients and staff and increasing levels of access to Ellenville Regional Hospital.

Description
MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN YOUR COMMUNITY!
The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) provides opportunities for people 55 and over to make a difference in their community through volunteer service. RSVP volunteers contribute anywhere from a few to over forty hours a week, serving through schools, day care centers, police departments, hospitals and other nonprofit and public organizations to help meet critical community needs. RSVP offers maximum flexibility and choice to its volunteers. RSVP matches the personal interests and skills of older Americans with opportunities to help solve community problems and offers supplemental insurance while on duty, and on-the-job training from the agency or organization where volunteers are placed.
