Harvesters is so grateful for the work of our volunteers, who bring their hearts and hands to the job of feeding hungry people! We could not feed 141,500 people every month without the dedication and service of our volunteers.
Must be eight years or older to participate; students 15 years old and younger need to be accompanied by an adult. Individuals, groups, and families are welcome! Also a great idea for your corporate team, service club, scout troop, class, etc.
Volunteer shifts are every Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. We can accommodate up to 35 people in one shift and reservations are required. Please note that for safety reasons all volunteers must wear CLOSED TOED SHOES when working in the warehouse.
Individuals and families can now register from home by going to www.harvesters.org/give-time/volunteer-sign-up!

We also offer education programs to increase community awareness of hunger and teach about good nutrition.

Harvesters is a certified member of Feeding America, a nationwide network of more than 200 food banks. In 2011 Harvesters was Feeding America’s Food Bank of the Year. We are a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
Harvesters also is one of five regional disaster relief staging sites for Feeding America. We continually store a supply of food, water and cleaning supplies that can be sent to a disaster site on short notice.
