The City of Charleston’s Keep Charleston Beautiful is hosting a cleanup event to remove litter from the trails and marsh around the Governor’s Park on Daniels Island. Anyone is welcome to join the group of volunteers meeting at 9am on May 3rd. The cleanup efforts will be focus on the wooded and marsh areas along the park’s walking trails. This cleanup will greatly improve the look and feel of the park and will help restore the areas around the trails to their natural beauty.
Cleanup supplies will be provided for volunteers. All ages are welcome but youth volunteers must be accompanied by an adult. Interested volunteers are strongly encouraged to wear close toed shoes. Thank you for helping keep Charleston beautiful!

Description
Keep Charleston Beautiful provides litter prevention and recycling education programs to local schools and youth groups. We also work with community groups and businesses to conduct cleanup and beautification events. We work with any group any time to remove litter. All programs and supplies are offered free of charge.
