Administrative help needed at Free Healthcare Clinic to screen patients before they are seen by our medical staff. Work as part of our medical team: Get the chart ready for the first visit with the provider, gather demographic information and check patient’s ID and proof of income. A respectul and caring attitude are required. Volunteer must be at least 21 years of age. (Conversational Spanish desired, but not required.)
Volunteers usually work a 4 hour clinic session one to two times per month.
Clinic sessions are Tuesday and Thursday in the morning and afternoon and on Saturday in the morning.

Americares Free Clinics are at the heart of a caring community, bringing together skilled volunteers and donated services to our neighbors in need. We partner with local hospitals and Quest Diagnostics for donated lab and diagnostic testing. We also work with a network of volunteer physicians, nurses, EMTs, and interpreters who donate their time. Since 1994, our clinics in Norwalk, Danbury, Bridgeport, and Stamford have provided health care valued at $141 million to more than 28,000 patients.
