Help in the Vitalant (Formerly BloodSource) Mather Headquarters Mail Room two hours once a week. Work with Volunteer Services staff and other volunteers to sort and distribute our incoming U.S. mail and interoffice mail. Help with various office projects. Friendly, courteous, dependable volunteers with great customer service skills are needed to help in the Mail Room.
This is an active volunteer opportunity. Must be able to lift 20 lbs. Vitalant Mather Mail Room. Minimum age 25.
Training for this volunteer opportunity training is on Mondays or Thursdays 10 am-12 pm.

Keep in mind that volunteering in no way gives an edge for Vitalant employment and volunteers are not allowed to perform regulated tasks or receive hands-on donor clinical experience. We are not able to offer internships, mentoring or job shadowing. Vitalant does not accept volunteers for court ordered community service hours.

Vitalant ("Vye-TAL-ent") is the nation’s largest independent, nonprofit blood services provider exclusively focused on providing lifesaving blood and comprehensive transfusion medicine services for about 900 hospitals and their patients across the U.S. Every day, Vitalant needs to collect about 5,300 blood, platelet and plasma donations to help save lives.
