Upstate Animal Rescue Foundation of SC (UARFSC) is a 501c3, non-profit corporation; a no-kill animal rescue located in Anderson, SC.
In our home county, over 13,000 animals are euthanized each year, simply because there are not enough homes for so many un-wanted animals.
UARFSC, IS DEDICATED TO HELPING FIND SOME OF THE 13,000 DOGS AND CATS THAT ARE EUTHANIZED IN OUR COUNTY ALONE, EACH YEAR, INTO FOREVER LOVING HOMES, but we can't do it with out the help of the comunity.
We assist about 500 dogs and cats into forever homes each year, and help those escape death-row. We provide spay, neuter, heart-worm treatments and a whole host of medical needs to these animals to ge tthem ready for their search for their forever family. We do not receive any government funding, we operate on private donations and public fund raising.
We simply can't do the work we do without great volunteers.
We need volunteers for temporary fostering, some overnight care (in your home), and especially help with off site adoption events and fundraising.
