The Vigil Volunteer Program is for hospice patients and their families that provides emotional support during the final hours of life. It takes a special person with great compassion who is comfortable with death and dying. As Vigil Volunteer, you have the opportunity to gain the family's trust and form a bond that is like no other. The Vigil Volunteer Training will walk you through the dying process and help you recognize different signs that will help you be supportive to the dying patient and their family.
