Caring and Compassionate people needed!!
People needed to enhance the lives of the elderly. We are a caring & compassionate charity to work for providing a variety of companion services to seniors living at home. We are in immediate need of a volunteer companion aide or cna to assist disabled elderly with very light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminder, possible grocery shopping, and companionship in Decatur. The position will be for 2 hours twice a week or on an as needed basis. The need is most importantly for companionship.
For our program, you should have the following:
Experience as a senior helper, CNA a plus
Older adult 55 (Perfect for seniors who are looking for volunteer work)
Dependable, passionate, and caring
Transportation
Background Screening
Our volunteers are paid and receive a small stipend for every 20 hours worked

Our program lovingly help people age 60 and older by providing assistance and friendship from other seniors to people who are homebound and generally living alone.
