Many adults are waiting for a tutor to help them become a more proficient reader or achieve success with getting their GED. Volunteers give 1-2 hours per week to meet one-on-one with their adult student. Tutoring times and locations are flexible to the tutor and student's needs. Also, volunteers are needed as classroom aides in adult education classrooms to tutor small groups of learners.
*Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, in-person tutoring has ceased and current matches are either on hold or meeting virtually. We will need many tutors in late summer and in the fall.
